Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running my first charity race, the adidas Women's 5k Challenge in Hyde Park on 11 September 2011 and ask you to support me by donating to my charity of preference, The Stroke Association.

Over the last few years my father suffered a few mild strokes. The early ones passed entirely unnoticed and it wasn't until two more visible ones occurred that he had a medical exam, revealing a succession of past strokes. Fortunately these were mild enough that they haven't impaired his daily lifestyle but it did make me and my family aware of the extent to which people are at risk, particularly as they age.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please support me and support The Stroke Association by offering a donation.

Thank you so much for your support!

Jennifer
