On Sunday 6th May I lost my close cousin very suddenly. Paris was loved by so many people, she shared some happy joyfull memories with many. She was a fun, loving, happy and beautiful 21 year old who had time for everyone her family, friends and her uni course. Unfortunatley Paris died due to a cardiac problem, we are unsure more specifically what the problem was, and what caused her sudden death. 

Cardiac Risk in the Young is a charity that has become very close to all of us. Many of us are doing all we can to raise money to support this charity, so the awareness of this horrible trauma is known. 

CRY’s Mission

Cardiac Risk in the Young aims to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

Every week 12 apparently 'fit' and 'healthy' young people die in the UK, of un diagnosed heart conditions. 

Unfortunatley our Paris was one of those 12.
