That's right, I have decided to participate in an organised bike ride from Milan to San Remo despite my abundant lack of cycling skills, so a challenge it will certainly be!  

In fact when I asked my friends to comment on my current ability these were some of the responses I got:

"Jen is barely acquainted with her bike" Katie Hughes

"To prove her steering accuracy at speed she showed an incredible ability to select from a 180 degree radius, a lamppost" Debbie Baird

"You mean 2.98 kilometres?!" JB Hartley

"The tortoise of cycling" Susan Herdina

"Jen rides so slowly it's practically going backwards" Katie (again!)

So training is going to be tooooouuugh and it is all for a very good cause,  Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research - so please donate if you can.
