After 2 years delay, the  Napoleon Challenge is on. With 35 other mad / delusional/ excited cyclist, over 7 days, we are cycling from Lyon to Nice via the French Alps

500 miles in 7 day. Now some will say, 500 miles wow! others will say mmmm Jen - 70 miles a day give or take, that’s not much. BUT this year it’s not about the distance, it’s about the elevation. 45,000 ft! That’s the equivalent of riding Mount Everest 1.5 times. 

We will be riding UP and OVER many of the famous and not so famous climbs. Alp D’Huez, Isoard, Gilibier, Col de Vars, Chartreuse, Chamrousse, Lauteret (to name a few)It’s certainly going to be a challenge.

Why? For charity. All donations go to charity. 50% goes to Challenge Adventure Charities who this year are raising money for the Ukrainian refugees of war, and the remaining 50% goes to my chosen charity of TRUSSELL TRUST. Supporting nation wide food banks helping people locked in poverty by providing emergency food and support and campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.    With the cost of living rising as sharply as it is, it’s now more than ever they need our support
