Story
Having spent my career in employer-sponsored health care, I joined the foundation board of Neighborcare Health last year to help ensure that folks who don't have access to health benefits through a job or family member, can receive the medical, dental and mental health care they need and deserve.
Neighborcare Health is Seattle’s largest community health system and King County’s provider of primary medical, dental and behavioral health care services for over 50 years serving the uninsured, low-income, children, seniors, immigrants and homeless. 75,000 patients are cared for annually at 30 non-profit medical, dental and school-based clinics; no one is turned away due to inability to pay. In addition, Neighborcare is now vaccinating the community against COVID-19 at all of their sites!
Especially after the events of the past year, working together to ensure that everyone has equal access to quality health care has never been more important. Every gift makes a difference, no matter what size. Will you help build a stronger, healthier community?
