Story
I am taking on the London Marathon for the Spinal Injuries Association to help people who are affected by spinal cord injury to live fulfilled lives. There are around 50,000 people living with a spinal cord injury (SCI) in the UK, and approximately 2,500 people sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury each year. That's one person every eight hours.
I am now working in neuro physio at the NHS. One particular patient with a spinal injury made me think and reflect hard. And an itching feeling to do more. So I thought for a bit. And this is it!
Dig deep peeps :-) please. And a big thank you.
