My London Marathon 2024 fundraising page

1 in 2 people will get cancer in our lifetime, but whether it's you or a loved one that is affected it can throw your entire lives into upheaval.
Recently, someone close to me has been battling leukaemia and to see the damage and upset that has caused them and those closest to them hasn't just broken my heart, it's made me angry. Very f**king angry.
I'm so angry, in fact, that I've decided to do something to try and make a difference. And that's why I'm here, asking you to consider donating something as I take on the London Marathon in support of the Anthony Nolan Charity.
I know this little gesture I’m making won't change the world, but if it can help alleviate just one persons suffering, or if it could mean someone can spend a bit longer with their families, then it'll be worth it.
So, please donate. And I'll do my best to finish the race.
For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. Today, five people will start their search for a stranger to save their life. Anthony Nolan is the charity that makes lifesaving connections between people with blood cancer and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells. It costs £40 to add each new potential donor to the Anthony Nolan stem cell register. Every new person on the register means another chance for someone to find their lifesaving match. By donating to our page, you will be giving more people with blood cancer the chance of a future. Together, we can keep saving lives.
