Story
I have signed up through work for the Prudential Ride London- Surrey 100, as well as, the Super Sprint London Triathlon which I will hopfully be able to do. I am also climbing Ben Nevis (1344m) on my birthday at the end of August. These are adding to what I have already done in 2015, which is the Hackney Half Marathon in April, and I climbed Mt Toubkal (4126m) in Morocco in March. I am also doing the Royal parks Half Marathon in October.
While putting myself though this rather active year, I want to raise money for Parkinson's UK again- as I haven't for a few years.
Those who don't know- my Mum has Parkinson's Disease. She is the strongest person I know and I would only be half the person I am today without her. She is doing amazingly well living with this still misunderstood condition and she is my inspiration to achieve these challenges. Thinking about what she has to go though every day, carried me through the last excruciating miles to the end of the Hackney Half, and I am sure the thoughts will carry me though the inevitable pain of cycling 100 miles in hopefully 7 hours.
Please donate as much as you can spare, and even just £1 from you to Parkinson's UK, will make all this worth it.
