Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

I knew this year that I wanted to take on a big physical challenge, and I wanted to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

The Isle of Wight 100km coastal trek seemed to fit the bill!

As many of you will know, my wonderful dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease some 8 years ago, and has recently started living in a specialised dementia nursing home to ensure the best level of care for him.

My family and I have experienced the effects of this cruel disease first hand, but there is hope for a cure in the future.  It's very important to me to support this charity to try and help eradicate the disease for our future generations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for any donation you can make. I really appreciate your support, both for myself and for the Alzheimer's Society.
