I'm taking to the skies on the 17th of July 2022 for Pilgrims Hospices. Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illnesses across east Kent. £10 could pay for a patients meals for the day. £25 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care. £35 could pay for our Community Team to hold a video consultation with a patient in their own home. £45 could pay for a one-to-one bereavement counselling session for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one. 10 years ago, in November I lost my granddad to cancer and just before he died my granddad was in hospice care in Ashford, and I decided for his 10 year anniversary of beginning gone, I want to raise money for the place that looked after him as a thankyou for providing the care he needed at the end.
