Cancer has touched many people’s lives and if you haven’t had a relative or friend who hasn’t had or doesn’t knows someone who has had cancer you are very lucky.

I have done several things for charity in the past, little things like having sponges thrown at me, hosting race night nights and football tournaments and jumping out of aeroplanes or helicopters, but generally nothing that was exceptionally physically exerting.

Cancer has affected me a couple of times over the years including my dad. The Run for a Life takes place at Haigh Hall on the 26^th September 2010 and I am asking that as many people as possible can sponsor me to raise funds to help eradicate this most awful of diseases. If you haven’t been affected by this disease you are one of the lucky ones. Help us make sure that there is new money coming in to help researchers and specialists find ways of curing or at least preventing this disease.
