You may remember that I slept out overnight for charity in the Spring of 2017.  Don’t be fooled by the smile in the picture, it was bloody hard and I vowed not to do it again.

Well I am doing it again and foolishly on the 30 November in the cold and possible snow.  A lot of people in our town sleep outside every night, surely I can manage another night in winter?!

I have to say that it is thought provoking, when you are sleeping outside on the hard concrete floor.  I lead a very privileged life as do a lot of the people I know. Can you imagine how it is as a young person not to have anybody or anywhere to live.  You would be surprised by the youngsters that this affects.  They come from all classes in our town, even privately educated children who have been forced to leave home and have no money and nowhere to go.

BYPHS are a local charity that help youngsters in Bolton between
the ages of 16-25 who are homeless. Please donate whatever you can, however small, to help the charity help the homeless youngsters of Bolton, firstly with somewhere to sleep and then to get on their feet.
