As some of you may be aware My mum was recently unexpectedly diagnosed with a terminal illness. No words will ever be enough to describe the pain that you feel when you hear those words. Your whole entire world comes crashing down, However The care provided by the staff at Nottingham City Hospital Hospice Hayward House has been exemplary, both physically and mentally for both the patient and the patients family. Without the amazing staff at Hayward House I wouldn't have the strength to go on the way I have. They make a very sad situation into such wonderful memories. Aside from medical care the staff here take time out of their personal lives to do as much for the patients and their families as they possibly can. Because of this, and the fact some of what they do for us is based upon donations I would like to give something back! 

On the 16th October we will be taking on the challenge of a 10 mile walk around Nottingham Embankment with my lovely friend Jodie no matter what the weather to raise money for Hayward House.
