Having grown up with my family frequently visiting the Almaden Valley branch of the San José Public Library, I'm now honored to serve as a board member of the San José Public Library Foundation.  

As you probably already suspect, public funding is not enough to support our local libraries.  SJPLF serves a critical role in providing children and adults with learning opportunities and access to technology through our local library branches...part of that is effort is raising additional funds for the libraries.  With your help, we can continue to create a more educated and engaged community, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive!
