Story
On 7th of April I will be raising funds for the Crohn's and Colitis UK Charity. Rather than ask for people to just donate,I will be using incentives which may appeal to a wider audience in a bid to raise awareness for this cause.
Please donate for a chance to win one of the following;
Two Premier League Tickets to Everton FC or Liverpool FC *
Two free passes to LLS Easter Half Term Camp*
A Haircut at Directors Cut
Two classes at Phoenix Fitness
Beauty Treatment from Paige Dottin MUA
*Minimum donation £10 (Tickets are for 2015/16 season unless some become available sooner). You will be provided with a number to be drawn out on 6th April.
All other prizes will be drawn out by name on 6th April.
My challenge will be to complete a 300 mile endurance cycle across France, Belgium and Holland. Although 300 miles across 5 days might not seem much, but I have accepted this challenge without any training or preparation. In fact at the time of writing this I don't own a bike and haven't done since I was 16. I won't be receiving any personal gain from this challenge (other than a few minor costs covered) I will be using annual leave to help others.
The reason for this particular charity?
Last year I met someone with an incredible story about this illness and how it affects them and so many others on a weekly basis. To find out more about their story feel free to ask. I have completed challenges like this before but have yet to use it as a vehicle to raise funds for a good cause and now i would like to step out of my comfort zone. Completing the challenge will be achievable but raising awareness and funds will be a task in itself.
