Story

As many of you know, my mum passed away after battling with cancer. The void she left in my life is unimaginable for those who have not experienced such loss.

The only horror I can imagine that surpasses the pain is to see your child ravaged by this terrible disease. Bluebell Wood offers support to children with a shortened life expectancy, and gives 'families the chance to relax, take a break and have fun'.

Getting to Base Camp is going to be A big challenge I hate roughing it (much prefer five star luxury!), am not a big fan of walking long distances, don't like wildlife and have occasional meltdowns with heights. If I succeed, this is going to be both a massive physical and mental achievement (I will probably cry!) but that will all be worthwhile to be able to give something back to this incredible charity.
