Story
I am cycling around 1,000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats for the Vodafone Foundation Lesotho Challenge in September this year.
The route covers 110 miles per day for 9 days. The most I have ridden before is 115 miles in one day and cycling was certainly not on the menu the following day! Plenty of food was though so at least I'll be able to eat like a pig guilt free for 9 days.
I'm blogging about my journey (who'd have thought it!). Click here to read more.I have set a target to raise £3,000, or about £3 per mile, which I can only do with your help! Each £10 donated will allow a HIV test for one child in Lesotho and provide counselling and a referral to clinic if it is needed.
Lesotho is a landlocked country in Africa facing an HIV / AIDS challenge. There are 41,000 children living with HIV and currently only 4,000 of them have access to antiretroviral drugs. The Vodafone Foundation Lesotho Challenge wants all these children to have access to treatment by 2017.
Thank you for your support,
Jason.
