On March 10th 2012 our son was rushed into hospital feeling unwell, he was very quickly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

 We never realised how complicated and how Type 1 Diabetes  would change all of my family's lives forever, the normal day to day things that we all take for granted like eating and exercise have to be planned with injections of insuline with food and increasing blood sugars levels before exercise.

J.D.R.F (Junior Diabetes Research Fund ) is the Type 1 Diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.We fund research to cure ,treat and prevent Type 1 Diabetes.

All funds raised will make such a difference to children with this cronic illness that is increasing in numers by 4% annualy.
