Some years ago I lost a close family member to myeloma  and wanted to support Bright Red by participating in the 2016 Bright Red Ride from Seahouses to Newcastle as part of a cycle team assembled by Calibre and North Tyneside Riders.

Bright Red is a charity established to improve the lives and treatment of people in the north who are dealing with blood cancer.

Through patient care, research and education we are striving to beat illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative diseases.

Please help us if you possibly can reach our target of £500.00 and please share this with all your social media contacts and anyone who has been affected by this awful disease.

We may not be able to defeat blood cancer with this ride alone, but we may just be able to make the difference to one persons life.
