In my 50th year I have decided to do something huge and memorable by completing the World Marathon Challenge 2018 and raising a substantial amount for charity.  This event is an amazing logistical and physical challenge which very few people in the world have attempted, let alone achieved.  I will be running 7 marathons (26.2 miles) in 7 days in 7 continents beginning in the Antarctic Circle, followed by Cape Town, Perth, Dubai, Lisbon, Cartagena (Columbia) and finishing in Miami, all in under 168 hours.

I have no doubt I will suffer from marathon fatigue, jet lag and sleep deprivation along with the impact of temperature variations of 50 degrees Celsius but will all be worthwhile if you would support my chosen charity The Prince's Trust.  One in eight young people in the UK are not in work, education or training and many of those they support struggle with homelessness, unemployment, mental health problems or a volatile family life.  They believe that every young person deserves the chance to succeed. With your help, we can change young lives so please give generously.
