Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You know how much I love a challenge and this one I couldn't resist. I am one of a team of six people whom are embarking on a cross channel swim.  We will be taking it in turns to swim two one hour stints, starting at Dover and finishing in France.

We have a pilot to navigate us across the choppy waters. We've all successfully completed the channel test swim in Dover harbour, having to endure water tempretures of 13.5 degrees for two hours.  Though all the training has been arduous it's all going to be more than worth it once we have reached the sandy shores of France.

The charity we are raising money for is 'The Forces Children's Trust'.  It's a charity devoted to working to help children whose father or mother has died or has been injured whilst serving in  the British Armed Forces.

So that brings me to call on all my friends and colleagues to support us, and help me raise the target amount.

Thank you so much Jannet
