Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided to do this challenge at short notice so I haven’t long to get my sponsorship target.

I do a lot of walking, and have climbed a lot of hills, But this day really will be a challenge for me.  It scares me.  I’m not 100% sure I can do it, but I think I can and I’ll give it my best shot.   The thought of starting it and not being able to finish it scares me BUT not as much as the fear and dread someone must have when they hear the word CANCER.

We all know someone who has heard the word.  My dad (and the rest of us in the family standing with him) has heard it 3 times and thank god survived.  I know others may not be so lucky.  Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is a lovely charity that gives support to patient and family but do an awful lot more - and it’s local to Northern Ireland. Check out www.cancerfocusni.org

So I just decided to bite the bullet and do it.  If you can sponsor me a few £ that’d be great and also send me positive vibes next Saturday
