Story
Janette Faherty passed away on 3rd March from an aggressive and rare cancer which took her from us in a matter of weeks.
We had hoped to have more time and to move her to the specialist care at North London Hospice, unfortunately a bed was not available.
We were fortunate to be able to move her to a private room at UCLH for her last day; however we realise that many people are not in such a position.
For this reason and as Janette spent so much of her life helping and thinking of others, we are requesting donations in Janette's name, in lieu of flowers, to North London Hospice to support the quality of care they provide.
Janette's funeral will be held at St Marylebone Crematorium, East End Road, Finchley, London N2 0RZ at 1.15pm on Tuesday 21st March. As space is limited at the Crematorium, it may be standing room only for some.
We are celebrating Janette's life so all are welcome at the Old White Lion, 121 Great North Road, East Finchley, London, N2 0NW from 3.30pm to closing. Please consider using public transport where you can as parking can be difficult.
Many thanks
Her loving daughters Sorcha & Tara and her husband Albert
