Story
Five years ago I ran my first and, to date, only half marathon to raise funds for MacMillan. It’s fair to say I did not catch the “running bug” but, having survived the 13.1 miles I said I would think about trying a marathon! Well, it’s taken a while but with my 60th birthday just one month after this year’s London Marathon, it was now or never!! Will it be a challenge- most definitely!! Will it hurt- probably!! Will I regret it- I hope not!! But whatever happens , I am fully committed to completing this personal challenge in support of the many people I know and the many more I do not, who are facing the daily challenges of cancer.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising and for adding your support to all those living with cancer. Your support will spur me on when my legs don’t want to move any more!!
