Story

I'm Raising Funds For The Rowans ....... please would you sponsor me?

On Saturday 29th May, I will be joining Daredevil Doris, Chris Evans, James Corden, and my neice Naomi (12) amongst others, in a 200ft abseil down Millbank House in Portsmouth's historic dockyard.

Doris made world news in 2009 when she achieved the Guinness World Record for the oldest person to abseil.  Now aged 96, she hopes to set another one.

The Rowans Hospice, is a local charity providing specialist care and support to patients (their relatives and carers) with life limiting illness.  All the care they offer is without charge, but they have to raise £2.4m each year to supplement their costs.

I'm not very good with heights (!) but my sister-in-law runs The Rowans and I have offered my support, so any donation however small would be very very welcome.
