London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you may know, I had a cancer scare last year . Luckily, I am now absolutely in the clear , but the whole rollercoaster episode has inevitably made me even more empathetic to those of all ages, but particularly the young, that face the shock, fear and uncertainty that goes with the diagnosis. You are left in a complete vacuum . I was blessed with great friends and family who rallied around me and without them , my positivity and strength would have suffered.
I have decided to run the London Marathon in April 2018 for CLIC( Cancer and Leukemia in Children) Sargent - a great Britsh charity that we as a family have long supported. It now is just slightly more personal. Everyday 11 children and young people in the UK hear the devastating news that they have cancer and CLIC offers support to those who at a young age did not have the emotional support that I most clearly did.
It am so grateful to those who have donated to this cause.
