Fundraising for Princess Alice Hospice
Fundraising for Princess Alice Hospice
Last Year, I began fundraising for the Ride100...only to have a bike crash that ended in surgery to piece me back together. This year however, I WILL complete the ride in memory of Mum and am lucky enough to have a sidekick riding with me too. Steve and I are still raising vital funds to help the wonderful hospice that looked after mum in her final days with us. Please give generously, they are a truly fabulous place and deserve all the help we can give them.
A reminder of just how important this place are to us us below....
Most of you will know that on 12th November 2015, my lovely Mum lost her fight to cancer. She fought a long and brave battle but sadly died with her family all around her.
In her final week, The Princess Alice Hospice gave my Mum a bed, nursed and cared for her with undeniable compassion and let her die with dignity and grace. As she took her final breath, a hospice nurse held my hand and comforted me whilst I cried.
I could not be more grateful to the Hospice and its staff for taking care of not only my lovely Mum, but of us all too, in the hardest and most painful days of our lives.
It is for that reason that this year, I am riding the gruelling 100 miles through London and Surrey to raise vital funds to ensure the Hospice can continue to help families like ourselves.
I would be so grateful for your support and sponsorship in order for me to support this amazing cause.
Thank you and see you at the finish line! xxx
