On 27 November last year my mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Until then there had been no indication that she had any cancer in her brain. She came to live with us until she died exactly 5 months later on 27 April 2013.  In her memory, I am taking the very hard step of ditching alcohol for January 2014 to raise money for Cancer Research.  I am not asking friends to "dig deep" as the campaigners say - even a small donation will make a difference and will show me I have your support and encouragement to raise funds and help the researchers find a cure for this horrible disease.  Thank you for your support.
