Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the London Marathon on 22nd April this year and raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society in memory of my Mum who died in 2007.
I started running late in life, you could say a mid life crisis, and for anyone who knows me way back, exercise was never my strong point! This will be my biggest challenge yet and I thank Gerard, my Dad, Niall, Orla, family & friends for all their support and my fellow Murlough AC friends who have inspired me as I watched them undertake and complete their first marathons.
Unfortunately so many families are affected by a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's and I hope that in some small way the funds I raise will go to support research into combating this disease.
