Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am taking on my biggest running challenge yet - to take part in the Edinburgh marathon on 22nd May.

As well as achieving a long-time ambition to complete a marathon I am also fundraising for Crohn's and Colitis UK. I have chosen this charity because my brother Rob was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2006, and while he is thankfully managing it pretty well, I have seen the huge impact this condition can have on people's lives. There are around 250,000 people suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease in the UK and there is no known cure. Crohn's and Colitis UK provides support for sufferers and their families as well as funding research. You can find out more about Colitis and Crohn's disease and the work of the charity at http://www.nacc.org.uk.

I would be really grateful for your support, it will really help keep me going though the long training runs and on race day itself!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for your support, Jane xx
