Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

With 45 of our members I am running in the very muddy Major Assault Course at Brahmam Park on 12 October and I'm doing it for a local charity that helps fund research into rare and difficult to treat cancers such as Triple Negative Breast Cancer; cancers that often are not treated on the NHS. The stark reality is that when facing a terminal diagnosis, Team Verrico is often the last hope.

Born out of a fight against a terminal diagnosis, this Epworth based charity was set up in memory of the beautiful, 36 year old courageous Anna Vericco who died last November leaving her husband and two small children. The charity's moto is Never, EVER give up and we won't.  I believe in what Team Verrico is doing with all my heart and I would be so grateful if you would sponsor me.  This is what we're doing..... it's muddy, it's wet, it's hard and I've been told not to do it because of my very painful shoulder injury...... yeah, right! I never was any good at doing what I'm told lol!!
