As the world struggles to make ends meet in the current financial crisis we continue to face our own challenges here at The Beehive. Our schoolgirls (and little boys) all return to school tomorrow/Tuesday. This is the 4th term of this school year. A normal school year has 3 terms. But because of the school closures due to Covid, the Kenyan government have squeezed 4 terms into this year. And this means an extra term's school fees, academic costs, and more transport money due to the shorter school holidays, which are not factored into our educational sponsorship costings. We are feeling the pinch!
All our school girls and little ones are currently sponsored. But rather than go back to their sponsors, we are hoping to spread this extra cost by reaching out to a wider audience. Can you help us?
