Story
My step-dad died in April. He had pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal lung condition. Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis helps those diagnosed with IPF and their families and also supports research. On average, someone with IPF has a life expectancy of just 3 years - let's try and change that.
I was inspired to run by my amazing step-sister Sian who, just 6 days after Alan died, ran the London Marathon in under 3h. Before I signed up for this event, I hadn't run outside since breaking my back, almost 10 years ago. Wish me luck!
