In April 2019 I will be joining a small bunch of amazing people and cycling 1,250 miles (!) from Hanoi in the north of Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City in the south. It will be the longest, most challenging route I've ever undertaken as there'll be mountains, dangerous roads, mad traffic, extreme heat, intense humidity, and not forgetting the odd water buffalo or two to avoid! Also, it's a flippin' long way! It will take four weeks, cycling between 50-65 miles each day in these difficult conditions. Phew! 

The ride is to raise money for five fantastic charities who help underprivileged children in Vietnam through education and healthcare.  My daughter Leanne has lived and worked in Vietnam for the last three years so I feel very connected to raising money for these deserving causes. (Leanne is riding too!) 

The ride is organised by volunteers, and the riders cover ALL of their own expenses. Absolutely 100% of the money raised goes direct to the charities.
