Story
My Dad was diagnosed in December 2013 with terminal cancer.
Throughout his fight he was provided with constant and essential support from the Macmillan nurses and volunteers.
Running the marathon for the charity was Dad’s idea. He saw me go for a few 5k runs and said he thought I could run 26 .2 miles to raise money. It hadn't occurred to me that I could run that far (I've never been the sporty type), but Dad was so passionate about Macmillan and the work they do that he wanted us to do whatever we could to help.
Dad passed away in October 2014, but not before he saw me secure a place in Team Macmillan to run the London Marathon 2015 and begin my training.
Please give anything you can to support this amazing charity.
