We raise funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients

Story

My next 3 running events are the MK Half Marathon on 17th July, the Great South Run on 30th October and the St Neots Half Marathon on 20th November and I'm dedicating them to the National Brain Appeal which is the charity dedicated to raising funds for the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (NHNN).  The NHNN is responsible for major advances in the treatment of conditions such as epilepsy, MS, Parkinson's Disease, dementia, strokes and brain and spinal cancer.

One of my sisters has PD, a condition which seriously impairs her quality of life, so this fund-raising is very close to my heart.  I consider myself very lucky to be healthy enough to run and in some small way to contribute, for her sake and for all those who are effected by one of the conditions covered by the Appeal.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
