We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

My work and home life involves the outdoors and I really enjoy walking.  I can often be found walking for pleasure, I find it a great de-stressor and a place to clear my head.   Being able to combine this with raising money for a worthy cause has become a personal goal for 2015.  Both I and my husband lost our fathers to cancer and I will be walking in memory of them both.

Each year we as a business like to support a charity and this year we have chosen Marie Curie, I am often inspired and humbled by the work the nurses do.

This is a new experience for me, training has begun and my main goal is to complete within the time.  I'm sure it will inspire me to volunteer for further treks!

This time I am walking with three close friends as 'The Ribble Valley Girls' and we hope to raise a substantial amount of money for the cause.  In future I may have the confidence to 'go alone'!

Any support you can give will be very much appreciated no matter how large or small.
