Story
2019
Latest "challenge" is a return trip to Paris (and Normandy). Only 1400 km which is probably one of the shortest trips I made in decades or probably ever. Re-opened my existing justgiving page because you never know whether it will raise any money for the good cause. And I promise: next trip will be in the access of 5000 or 6000 km again.
2014
Returned home on Sunday the 28th. September after cycling a total of 2515 km in 20 days (and back at work on Monday the 29th. September).

Sorry people, need to postpone the planned trip to Monte Cassino due to unforeseen circumstances. This now forces me to do something else instead and with only 3 weeks to spare I have chosen to do a return trip to Prague in September 2014.
A couple of years have passed since my last successful attempt to raise money for the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Fund (now known as 'Bloodwise') with my long distance bicycle trip around the North Sea in 2009 (5365 km in 8 weeks), an event that raised a total of € 2047.00 which made it all really worthwhile, including the 15 kg I lost in bodyweight.
This will be the 5th. time I do a bit of cycling to raise money for the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Fund). As always I will do the burning of calories and trust people will dig deep in to their pockets for a bit of cash for the good cause. Will keep you posted on the progress leading up to D-Day (Departure Day).
As a small token of my appreciation I will send a personal postcard from Prague to all those who will contribute £ 20.00 or more to the L&LRF (by that time I will have completed half of the trip).
Come on, dig deep in to your pockets, the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Fund needs your financial support, so please dig deep and donate now. - . - . -
By the way, the Monte Cassino trip will not be forgotten and remains on the back-burner for the time being (next year?).
