Story
Our son, nephew, cousin and our friend Jamie passed away on the 8th October 2015.
Jamie was 21 years and 7 months old when he passed away.
Jamie suffered from severe Cystic Fibrosis, since he was 3 months old. During the last 18 months of his life, Jamie's health deteriorated substantially he relied on oxygen 24/7, as his lung function was only 21%. On the 29th September 2015 Jamie was added to the active transplant list, and on the 1st October, he received a phone call that would have changed his life forever, a donor had become available and he was offered the greatest gift of all, a double lung transplant. Unfortunately due to complications and five further operations, the machines had to be turned off and he sadly passed away on the 8th October.
Jamie had so much character, he caused so much mischief, he enriched so many lives, he could have given up, but he didn't. He qualified as a gym instructor and gained employment at Legoland as a retail assistant. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
