I can’t really believe I’m writing this, but I’m going to be running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022! I am genuinely so honoured to be running in aid of the incredible charity Alzheimer’s Research UK as part of #TeamARUK. This will be the first ever marathon, and anyone who remembers how un-sporty I was as a child will know what a huge challenge this is going to be!

Alzheimer’s Research UK is an incredible charity, and it would mean the world to me if you were able to donate to this fantastic cause. Our family has seen first-hand the devastating impact of Alzheimer’s, having watched Rosie’s grandmothers succumb to this horrible disease. I feel so passionate about raising funds for dementia research in order to do everything possible to find a cure for this dreadful disease and prevent hardship for future generations.

Alzheimer’s is a physical disease. The damage caused by Alzheimer’s can lead to a brain weighing around 140g less than a healthy one – that’s about the weight of an orange.
