Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've decided to try and run my first marathon for Boxer Welfare Scotland.
Boxer Welfare Scotland was founded in January 2005 and received charity status as a boxer rescue not long afterwards. Since then they have rescued and rehomed around 380 boxers through their adoption processes. Most of these rescue dogs come to them through no fault of their own. Some are ex breeding dogs abandoned by the breeders when they can no longer be used as a money machine. Some rescue boxers come to them because their owners can no longer give them the care and attention a boxer needs, some have been abused and some are just no longer wanted.
There are also those sad stories where people have found themselves in the position where they are no longer able to cope, through separation, illness or death, and are having to allow their beloved boxers to be given over to rescue to be adopted and rehomed. They are here to rescue and care for all boxers in Scotland and to help them find a way to their new adopted families in the new forever homes they deserve.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I am trying to raise as much money as possible to help the charity continue to look after the dogs they have in care and with the vet bills they often receive. So please dig deep and donate now.
