*edited* After the events at Manchester arena, my kids were scared about me doing the Manchester run in case anything else happened. I wasn't worried and wanted to still do it, but after what had happened in Marbella, I couldn't have them worrying again. They've already been through enough. So I've decided to not do it, and booked on the Great North Run instead! Twice the distance, and all uphill! When I was in hospital in Marbella, I told my wife that I'd do the GNR again one day. Looks like this is the year! 🏃💨
