Story

Thanks for viewing. I am entering arduous/challenging events to increase Mental Health awareness. Aiming to raise money for Health in Mind, a small Scottish Charity whilst sporting a classic Moustache to show my visual support to anyone in difficulty - They are not alone.

Next Challenges:

Twelfth Event:  Commando Speed March 2023: TBC

Eleventh Event Oct 22: United States Marine Corps Marathon in Full Kit Chaperoning injured female SNCO - Completed Hot Hot Hot

Tenth Event: Date 4-5 June 2022. Cateran Yomp for Army Benevolent Fund and Allied Forces Foundation 54 Miles in 24 Hrs with our Recovering Service Personnel & Wounded Warriors. Completed 19 Hrs. 

Ninth Event: Date TBC.  Canoe the Union Canal from Falkirk Wheel to Edinburgh (50km).

Eighth Event: Sunday 19th September 2021. Edinburgh Half Marathon (21km). Volunteered to complete it with Bergen (36lbs), Denims and Boots. Complete 2Hrs 37 Mins. 

Seventh Event: Friday 21st May 2021. Seven Hills of Edinburgh Challenge. Bergen Weight, Lightweights and Boots 36Lbs. Complete 0500-1100, tough going in the weather: Corstorphine Hill, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Arthur’s Seat, Blackford Hill, Braid Hill and Craiglockhart Hill.

Sixth Event:
Friday 14th May 2021. Pentland’s Points - After release from lockdown a quick track around Castlelaw and Allermuir on a misty Friday Morning.

Fifth Event:
Sunday 29th September 2019.  Great Scottish Run - Glasgow Half Marathon (21km). Cracked the Half Marathon in 1Hr 47. Brilliant atmosphere and support from the Glasgow crowds. It was a real pleasure to run in aid of Health in Mind.

Fourth Event:
Sunday 26th May 2019.  Edinburgh Half Marathon (21km).
Complete - What a great atmosphere and around beautiful Auld Reekie, dodgy calf at 6 mile point but ‘Grizzed’ through and finished 1Hr47Mins.

Third Event:
Saturday 4th May 2019.  Stuc a' Chroin 5000 Hill Race, (20km). http://www.stucachroin5000.org.uk
Complete - Amazingly tough event but with fantastic scenery, 4hrs 15Mins

Second Event:
Sunday 14th April 2019.  Round the Houses Falkirk (10km). Complete 46 Mins 55 Secs

First Event:
Sunday 7th April 2019. Edinburgh Kilmathon (13km). Complete - 63 Mins
