Story

London is my city. It's where I was born. It's where I grew up. It's home for me. I may live somewhere else now, but my heart will always be in London. Attacks on innocent civilians are not new, nor are they exclusive to the UK or to the capital, but when it hits you where your heart is, it hurts so much more.

The victims and their families of the attacks on London and Manchester and elsewhere in the UK need our support and our love, and so I would like to play my part.

I will be taking part in the RideLondon-Surrey 46 on 30 July, a 46-mile cycling sportive around my home city. I would be so grateful if you could donate and give whatever you can to support those affected by terrorist attacks in the UK.

The way we should act in these times is to remember the dead, support the wounded and their families, and work towards a brighter future. As a wise man once said:

My soul slides away. But don't look back in anger; don't look back in anger. I heard you say. At least not today.

Thank you so much,

James
