Story
Perversely, I'm cycling to every tube stop in London at the end of May with my friend Adam (for separate charities - his page is here: http://www.justgiving.com/Adam-Fairris1).
It's about 300 miles and I am in easily the worst physical shape of the last five years, not having started from an incredible baseline, so for those of you who like a bit of pain for their charity, or just like me being in pain, actually just living until the end of this should be quite a struggle for me.
We'll be doing it over five days, broadly splitting it into tube lines, culminating in a race down the Waterloo and City line on the Friday, of which the loser (that will be me) pays £30 to the winner's charity (that will be the Terrence Higgins Trust).
Adam's raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust, and I'm raising money for Kids Adventure, which is a project that takes children who have already dealt with tougher things in their lives than most of us will ever go through. KA gives them a break from all the other stuff and lets them just be kids for once. They're just starting off as a national project having spun out of an amazing volunteering group at my old uni.
PwC is sportingly matching the first £250 of donations.
