Story

A couple of years ago our son Ben was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and I'm taking part in the Duchenne Dash, riding 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours.

Organised by Duchenne UK, all money raised funds vital research and accelerates the development of treatments for DMD, an utterly devastating muscle-wasting disease affecting mobility and the respiratory system. There is no cure.

Whilst Ben’s friends and his younger brother grow stronger, as Ben gets older he continues to get weaker. Duchenne UK are the leading DMD charity in the UK and aim to end Duchenne, including through providing funding for pharmaceutical research and supporting the NHS.

We would be extremely grateful for your support. Thank you
