Yep, this is really happening.

For the record, I'm doing this because I'm a bit of a spontaneous idiot and not because I'm brave. The reality of jumping from a plane didn't come into it.

In all seriousness, I'm in awe of the service that North London Hospice provides. To do what they do every day cannot be overestimated. If you speak to any of their patients or their respective friends and family members they speak only in glowing terms of the selfless dedication the hospice shows.

Generally I am always giving to charity in some form. Me and the wife-to-be are frequent charity shop visitors with donations of any unwanted goods worth any value, or buying bargains from the shops. I give to charities throughout the year but I don't take part in fundraising. So.... in at the deep end then.
