 I have been actively fundraising for Stella Maris for over 4 years. In the current climate like many other charities they are struggling. Most of their funding comes from giving talks in Churches and holding coffee mornings/other events. The scope to follow normal funding approaches has been severely curtailed by the pandemic. We have adapted to holding events on-line , but they are not as successful as face to face events. All of us depend on seafarers and they sacrifice so much to support the lifestyles we have been accustomed to. We have a lot to thank them for.
