Adoption UK connect, inform and support adopted and other care experienced children, young people, adults and their families. We also campaign for lifelong support, alongside those whose lives are affected by adoption and care experience.

Story

Hi All,

Prior to completing the Oxford Half Marathon back in October 2015 (the last time I ran for charity) I was fortunate enough to gain a place in the London Marathon, taking place on Sunday 24th April. As before, I am going to be running for the charity my wife works for; Adoption UK.

Adoption UK is the leading charity providing support, awareness and understanding to those parenting children who cannot live with their birth parents. Adoption UK is the largest voice of adopters in the UK
with over 11,000 members and provides a strong and supportive community. The charity influences decision makers using the experience and knowledge of its members and adoption communities. It provides training and one to one support to inform prospective adopters, adopters and professionals and to help transform the lives of children and build brighter futures for them.

As always, I thank you all that have donated previously and I thank you for simply taking the time to read my page. Any contribution you can make regardless of the amount is very much appreciated and will go a long way to help support the continued great work Adoption UK do.
