We recently lost my Grandma, Jean Carpenter, following 15+ years with dementia. 

Following many years of my Grandad caring for Grandma, she eventually became a resident at Bernard Sunley Nursing Home (run by Friends of the Elderly) in Woking. The staff at Bernard Sunley Nursing Home were amazing for the years Grandma spent there, always so kind to the family when we visited and putting everyone at ease knowing they were caring for Grandma.

I'll be running 25 5k runs on consecutive days- 5k every day from 22nd December (when I had this bright idea whilst out for my first run in a while) until the day of Grandma's funeral, 15th January.
